Social Capital Deep Dive into longevity

The Longevity Initiative’s Directors Andrew Steele and Kamen Shoylev were interviewed for a new longevity Deep Dive from Social Capital, the investment firm run by Chamath Palihapitiya.
The report finds that ageing is the largest shared risk factor for the diseases that kill most people in the developed world, yet receives only a small fraction of global biomedical R&D – a funding gap that echoes our own analysis of how little ageing research receives relative to the deaths it causes.
Thank you to report author Aleksandr Sviridov for speaking with us.
